EVALUATION AND FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS

During your initial evaluation or follow-up appointment you will be seen by the doctor and he will listen to your concerns and symptoms, he will ask questions related to your disease, he will perform a physical exam, and together with you, he will come up with a treatment plan based on your disease, your preferences, and your schedule. Every patient and their diseases are unique and therefore are treated as such, with compassion and dedication

INTRA-ARTICULAR AND TRIGGER POINT INJECTIONS

Steroid injections are used for the management of acute and chronic pain. This medication is given by the doctor and it is injected into a joint, tendon or muscle to decrease inflammation and pain. In some body parts we can also inject other substances such as hyaluronic acid and platelet rich plasma.

B12 AND B-COMPLEX INJECTIONS

Vitamin B deficiencies are common in patients who are vegetarian, vegan or have some dietary restrictions, patients who have gastrointestinal diseases that affect absorption, or in autoimmune diseases. Some of the symptoms of Vitamin B deficiency include memory loss, fatigue, constipation, mouth ulcers, swollen tongue, difficulty maintaining balance, headache, and pins and needles in arms or legs.

INFUSION THERAPY

In an infusion therapy, medications are given into a vein to treat diseases, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Osteoporosis, Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative colitis and Psoriatic Arthritis, among others

OSTEOPOROSIS INJECTIONS

Some medications for osteoporosis need to be given as a monthly or bi-yearly injection in a doctor’s office. These medications include Prolia and Evenity.
